چکیده اصلی

The authors conducted a review of fall prevention alarms in hospital settings. The review covers the evidence for fall prevention alarms and other fall prevention practices, factors that contribute to overuse of fall prevention alarms, and strategies that are being tested to de-implement fall prevention alarms. The review also provides an overview of low-value care and de-implementation science and how lessons learned from those fields can be applied to hospital fall prevention.
