چکیده اصلی

The diseases of oral cavity belong to the most widespread non-communicable pathologies, significantly affecting quality of life and the economy. In Russia, the prevalence of dental caries and periodontal diseases remains high, especially in the rural population, where availability of stomatological care is limited. In the Republic of Dagestan, the situation is complicated by natural climatic, cultural and linguistic characteristics, that determine the necessity of local evaluation of factors of stomatological health.

Defining Consensus-Based Components for Integrating Dietitians Into Primary Dental Care for Paediatric Populations: A Delphi Study.

However, dietary advice provided by dental professionals in primary dental care is often brief and sugar-focused, representing a missed opportunity to address shared risk factors. Integrating dietitians into primary dental c…

Salivary Oxidative Stress Biomarkers as Predictors of Oral Health Risk Among Coffee-Drinking Smokers and Non-Smokers: Implications for Preventive Dentistry.

PURPOSE: The goal of this study was to look at the link between smoking, drinking coffee, and salivary oxidative stress biomarkers malondialdehyde (MDA) and superoxide dismutase (SOD) as signs of oral health risk among university students in Aceh, Indonesia, and to see if they could be used as non-invasive screening tools in a clinical setting. METHODS AND MATERIALS: There were three groups of students: active smokers, passive smokers,…
