A major barrier to faith community nurse (FCN) program success is the lack of financial support; however, a current knowledge gap exists regarding FCN compensation. The current study explored FCN compensation through a three-step approach: examination of professional guiding documents for nursing and FCN practice, a standalone literature review, and development of a national FCN compensation survey. Seventy-six percent (76%) of the 97 survey respondents (n = 74) reported not being compensated. Study results underpinned the creation of a Westberg Institute position statement: Compensating the Faith Community Nurse.

Caring Behaviours in Nursing: A Bibliometric Analysis of Global Research Trends and Knowledge Structure.

BACKGROUND: Caring behaviours constitute one of the most visible ways in which "caring" is translated into everyday nursing practice, yet the field has become increasingly heterogeneous across settings, outcomes, and conceptual traditions. A field-level map is therefore needed to clarify how the literature has evolved and where it is currently concentrating. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to bibliometrically map the literature on caring b…

Aromatherapy stands out as a non-pharmacological and easily implementable complementary approach for alleviating these symptoms. To our knowledge, this is the first systematic review specifically examining the effects of aromatherapy on stress and anxiety among ICU nurses. AIMS: This systematic review aimed to evaluate the effects of aroma…
