چکیده اصلی

The psychoanalytic unconscious is a concept with multiple meanings. Its first, positivist interpretation opens the door to a psychological debate with the neurosciences on the nature of the psyche, provided that the differences in methods and languages are respected. The second, hermeneutic interpretation views the unconscious as meaning to be interpreted or a narrative to be coconstructed. The third, which is emphasized here, offers a concrete definition of the unconscious within and through the pragmatics of psychoanalytic communication, in the here and now of the encounter. It is from this perspective that psychoanalysis's contribution to psychiatry seems most relevant today - as a tool for training in encounter and active listening within the realm of intersubjectivity, which lies at the heart of all clinical practice.
