INTRODUCTION: Patent hemostasis (PH) is important for preventing radial artery occlusion after transradial coronary procedures, but the relative efficacy and safety of different PH-guided strategies remain uncertain. This study aims to compare and rank these strategies and, if data permit, explore the potential contributions of their key components. METHODS AND ANALYSIS: Nine databases (PubMed, Embase, CINAHL, the Cochrane Library, Web of Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang Database, VIP Database and the Chinese Biomedical Literature Database) will be searched from inception to 1 July 2026 for randomised controlled trials involving adults undergoing coronary intervention and diagnosis via transradial access. Supplementary searches will include trial registries, academic search engines and reference lists. Two reviewers will independently conduct study selection, data extraction, network node assignment, component coding and risk-of-bias assessment. Pairwise and frequentist network meta-analyses will be performed using R v4.4.1 under a random-effects framework. Heterogeneity, transitivity, inconsistency, small-study effects, certainty of evidence, subgroup effects and sensitivity will be assessed. Exploratory component network meta-analysis will be conducted using an additive model if data and network structure permit. ETHICS AND DISSEMINATION: This study will analyse published aggregate data and will not involve participant recruitment, clinical intervention or collection of biological samples; therefore, ethical approval is not required. The findings will be disseminated through peer-reviewed publication and other relevant academic channels. TRIAL REGISTRATION: PROSPERO CRD420261436288.

Effectiveness of a Behavior Change Wheel-Informed WeChat-Based Messaging Intervention to Improve Medication Adherence After Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: 12-Week Quasi-Experimental Study.

BACKGROUND: Medication nonadherence after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) remains a major barrier to secondary prevention. Prior SMS text messaging interventions have shown inconsistent results, often limited to reminders without addressing behavioral or psychological determinants. OBJECTIVE: This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a theory-informed, WeChat-based messaging intervention for improving medication adhere…

Fregoli syndrome in an adolescent with Moyamoya disease.

Moyamoya disease (MMD) is a progressive cerebrovascular disorder characterised by distal internal carotid artery (ICA) stenosis and compensatory collateral vessel formation. Psychiatric manifestations are rare, particularly in children. We report the case of an early adolescent with previously diagnosed MMD who developed acute-onset psychosis following a febrile illness associated with headache and vomiting. Symptoms included auditory …

[Aortic valve disease - Interventional aortic valve replacement in asymptomatic patients and the use of artificial intelligence].

Aortic valve diseases are among the most common structural heart diseases in adults. Aortic stenosis (AS), in particular, poses a growing challenge due to demographic trends, as it continues to be underdiagnosed. The current 2025 ESC/EACTS guidelines mark a paradigm shift: for the first time, early intervention is recommended for selected asymptomatic patients. At the same time, various AI tools support early patient screening. Also new,…
